♥ - WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD 03/17/2013 - ♥

Don't look back on what has happened,
Disappointments and sad things...
Instead look toward the future,
And the joy that each day brings.
Don't live your life unhappy,
From things already done...
Concentrate on your accomplishments,
Battles fought that you have won.
The chapters of your life are like,

A book you might have written...

Full of fun and many good times,

And those when you were bitten.

Looking back will serve no purpose,

And is a waste of time...

Mere lessons from the book of life,

That guide you down the line.

Don't look back upon your failures,

Instead keep moving on...

For life is what you make it,

And too soon has come and gone.

Don't wait until everything is just right.
 It will never be perfect.
There will always be challenges,
obstacles and less than perfect conditions.
So what.
 Get started now.
With each step you take,
you will grow stronger and stronger,
more and more skilled,
more and more self-confident
and more and more successful.

Just as a tree that is full of fruit
bows down for others to take the fruit,
 one who is humble
will always live in self respect
and treat others with respect.

Greatness is not found
in possessions,
power,
position,
 or prestige.
 It is discovered
in goodness,
humility,
service,
and character.

Each of us has our own unique flaws.
 It's these flaws we have,
that makes life so very interesting
and rewarding.
 It binds our lives together.
Instead of looking for flaws;
We have to accept people
for what they are
and look for the good in them.

You may not be able
to change the entire world,
but touch one soul
and change their world
forever.

Vakul is a traditional headgear used to protect
the Ivatans from rain, wind and sun.
Vakuls are traditionally worn by the women
and are made out of Philippine Date Palm or Voyavoy leaves.
The palm leaves are being dried under the sun,
 shredded into thin parts
