♥ - WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD 03/21/2013 - ♥

Your presence,
is a present to the world.
You're unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be,
what you want it to be.
Take the days,
just one at a time.
Count your blessings,
not your troubles.
You'll make it through,
whatever comes along.
Within you,
are so many answers.
Understand, have courage,
 be strong.

Don't put limits on yourself.
So many dreams,
 are waiting to be realized.
Decisions are too important,
 to leave to chance.
Reach for your peak,
your goal and your prize.
Nothing wastes more energy,
 than worrying.
The longer one carries a problem,
the heavier it gets.

Don't take things too seriously.
Live a life of serenity,
not a life of regrets.
Remember,
that a little love goes a long way.
Remember,
that a lot of love goes forever.
Remember,
that friendship is a wise investment.

Life's treasures,
are people... Together.
Realize,
that it's never too late.
Do ordinary things,
in a extraordinary way.
Have health,
hope and happiness.
Take the time,
to wish upon a star.
And don't ever forget....
For even a day....
How very special you are.

-- Author Unknown

To live a little,
you've got to love a whole lot.
Love turns the ordinary
into the extraordinary.
Life is a gift we're given
 each and every day.
Dream about tomorrow,
 but live for today.
Don't wait for tomorrow.
Make memories today.
Life is for Living.

This is what the Lord asks of you:
 only this,
to act justly,
to love tenderly,
and to walk humbly
with your God.

-Micah 6:8

"People think I'm disciplined.
It is not discipline.
It is devotion.
There is a great difference."

~~Luciano Pavarotti
1935-2007 Opera Singer

Circumstances occur that could easily crush us.
They may originate on the job
or at home or even during the weekend
 when we are relaxing.
Unexpectedly, they come.
Immediately we have a choice to make
an attitude choice.
We can hand the circumstances to God
and ask Him to take control
or we can roll up our mental sleeves
and slug it out.
Joy awaits our decision.

~~Charles Swindoll
"I've learned
that whenever I decide something
 with an open heart,
I usually make
the right decision."

-- Maya Angelou

Puso is rice wrapped
in woven strands of palm frond.
A large bundle of small packets is tied together
, puso is an integral part
of the barbecue culture of Cebu,
and I would go so far as to call it an art.
 Puso is to the Cebuano
what the baguette is to the Parisian,
or the bagel is to the New Yorker.
